Meet us at Whole Foods to discuss and share facts about healthy eating and other natural health practices! We will meet in the restaurant area (the tables to the left as you come in), so bring your appetite! This group is FREE.

We had a great time listening to our guest speaker, Zak Nordyke. He is a personal trainer, and talked to us about exercise, nutrition, and detoxing. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and even provided a sweet and healthy snack for other members to taste! We talked a bit about the pros and cons of bottled water. It is often no better than tap water, and the plastic bottles it usually comes in leak estrogens into the water they hold. This can wreak havoc on your hormone levels, and also may increase your risk of cancer. Polycarbonate bottles and filtered water are one way of reducing the potential hazards of bottled water. We all learned a lot, and had a great time doing it!
    •  Zak, who was the guest speaker for the meeting had some great tips to share on healthy eating habits and also on exercise. I had a good time, and the group of people who attended were friendly.
